BLLX 2026 Venue Announcement: We’re Headed to The Morrow Center

The Bullying, Literacy, & Leadership Experience has a home! 

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, adults who care about helping children thrive will gather at The Morrow Center in Morrow, Georgia for the Bullying, Literacy, & Leadership Experience — BLLX.

BLLX was created for the adults who teach, parent, mentor, coach, counsel, lead, and advocate for children.

Children say things every day that require adults to decide what to do next:

“They’re picking on me.”

“Nobody wants to play with me.”

“He keeps calling me names.”

“I don’t feel safe.”

But what actually happened? Was it bullying? Conflict? Rude or mean behavior? Is there a pattern? Is there a power imbalance? And most importantly, what should the adult do next?

That is the kind of work we’ll explore at BLLX.

This Is Not a Sit-and-Listen-All-Day Conference

BLLX is designed around four things:

Learn. Experience. Practice. Connect.

During this five-hour experience, participants will build clearer language and practical strategies, participate in interactive learning experiences, experience the dynamics surrounding bullying through an immersive simulation, and connect with other adults and community resources that support children.

Participants will also choose two of four interactive learning experiences, exploring topics connected to literacy, advocacy, bullying behaviors, youth voice, confidence, resilience, and more.

The goal is not simply to leave with more information.

The goal is to leave better prepared to respond.

Why The Morrow Center?

The Morrow Center gives us the space to create the kind of experience BLLX is designed to be.

We’ll have room for our shared learning experiences, smaller interactive breakout sessions, the immersive bullying simulation, lunch and networking, community resource tables, author tables, and opportunities to connect throughout the day.

And because the event is being held in Morrow, Georgia, in metro Atlanta, BLLX is accessible to educators, parents, youth-serving organizations, churches, municipalities, nonprofits, mentors, advocates, and community leaders throughout the region.
